Online Community Platform Developer

All Hands Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking to recruit a reliable and versatile platform developer for our online community.

Requirements

The candidate should:

1. Have a very good understanding of the Internet, SSH, MySQL, and Unix

2. Be very familiar with the intricacies of Web hosting

3. Be well-experienced in PHP and/or some other coding language — such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, or Python — especially one that has a client library for our API.

4. Be experienced in programming techniques including object oriented and/or rational unified process (RUP) such as Java, open source, HTML, COBOL/CICS,

5. Have a strong grasp of user interface development using HTML or XML; as well as methods to analyze and improve complex business processes, data objects and relationships

6. Be experienced in relational database management systems

7. Have effective oral and written communication methods

8. Have superior customer/audience needs assessment capabilities and methods to work as a team member as well as a team leader.

5. Your IS systems analysis experience such as analysis of users' system needs, preparation of system and project scopes, and/or developing requirements and specifications for projects including cost benefit analysis and your role.

6. Your experience using rational unified process (RUP) or object oriented (OO) methodology as it relates to interactive Internet development, including experience creating use cases, sequence diagrams and other UML diagrams.

7. Your application development experience related to retirement or financial systems including team size and length of projects.
