Overcoming the
Paradoxes of Knowledge
The blight of the modern time is that there is too much information
everywhere. This is information overload. The end result has been a great
explosion of knowledge and increase of knowledge experts. Ironically, the strengths of
these knowledge and knowledge expertise have become
severe weaknesses for businesses and organizations.
Although one would expect
that knowledge experts will be good
forecasters, research, since the 1930s, concludes that the majority of these
intelligence and knowledge experts are not particularly good at making
predictions about the future.
How do we overcome this bane of knowledge explosion?
At All Hands Business Solutions, we recognize intelligence as a mix of a number of highly
specialized spheres of knowledge and abilities. Within each of these
spheres, we task a number of connoisseurs with assembling,
analyzing,
assigning meaning, and reporting on data; the goals being to describe, solve
a problem, or make a forecast.
CIPA -- our intelligence process, results in breakthroughs and in keeping corporate enterprises adopting
it ahead of the game, so that they are not taken unawares, outsmarted or
outperformed. And CIPA bolsters a company’s specific
strategies and targets.
